Delta robots are true performance marvels: they achieve top performance around the clock and at very high speed, for example when packaging food. Due to the countless movements that occur during their service life, their gearboxes are subjected to maximum stress. This often leads to failures if the gearboxes cannot withstand these high demands. The result is a standstill on the production line, which causes high costs and requires immediate reaction by competent personnel.
To minimize the occurrence of failures, Nidec Graessner has expanded its planetary gearboxes of the VRT High Precision series especially for Delta robots with the Delta version. These are particularly resilient and feature lifetime lubrication, making them virtually maintenance-free.
